School Board Seats Up for Election This Year

• 2x Nominating District 1, to fill the balance of the original, unexpired term (Term expires June 30, 2025).
• 1x Nominating District 3, Four-Year Term (Term Expires June 30, 2028)
• 1x Nominating District 4, Four-Year Term (Term Expires June 30, 2028)
• 2x Nominating District 5, Four-Year Term (Term Expires June 30, 2028)

NO ELECTION IN 2024 for Indian River Districts 1, 3 & 5, pursuant to 14 Del. C. § 1075(b)
Per the provisions of 14 Del. C. § 1075(b), in the event that there is only 1 candidate for the election of a school board member, the Department of Elections conducting the election shall declare the candidate elected, shall not hold an election for that seat, and shall issue a certificate of election to that candidate.
