Voter Education & Outreach
The Delaware Department of Elections is committed to providing Delaware citizens access to trusted and accurate voter information and educational opportunities to ensure that every eligible Delaware voter has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
Voter Outreach Events
The Delaware Department of Elections invites schools, organizations, groups, and interested entities to request the Department to attend events and teach individuals about voting in Delaware.
Request a Voter Education Event or Election
The Department of Elections attends and participates in events to provide voter education materials and demonstrate Delaware’s voting machines. Complete and submit the Voting Machine Demonstration Request Form to invite the Department to your event.
The Department of Elections supports voter education/outreach, student government, and mock elections to entities upon request. Complete and submit both the Application for Use of Voting Machines and Election Planner forms to the Department to coordinate an election.
The Department has participated in the following events, providing voter education on how to register to vote, how to vote, how to sign up to work as an election officer, and other voting and election information. Outreach has included demonstrating the accessibility features of Delaware's voting machine.

Public Reports on Department of Elections Operations
The Department of Elections prepares a Report to the State Board of Elections for each Board meeting. The State Election Commissioner and the Directors of each Department of Elections county office, present the report to the Board. The report details Department activities. The Department publishes each meeting's report to its website, providing public access to the information and transparency in Department operations. The Board of Elections webpage contains the reports and links to the Board of Elections public meeting postings.
