2021 Referendum Calendar

March 19, 2021 Last day the Department is permitted to mail absentee ballots for the Smyrna School District referendum
March 22, 2021 at 12 Noon Last time the Department is permitted to issue absentee ballots for Smyrna School District referendum
March 23, 2021 School Referendum. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
March 23, 2021 at 8 p.m. Deadline to return voted absentee ballots to the Department's Kent County Office in order for them to be counted.
March 31, 2021 at 12 p.m. Certification of the referendum at the Department's Kent County Office.
April 7, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. Audit of the ballots cast on one randomly selected voting machine and one randomly selected polling place used in the Referendum.
